The waterfalls trail at David Marshall Lodge in the Trossachs

Type of track:
Gravel footpaths
Length: less than 1 mile - may be extended
Begin at:
The David Marshall Lodge car park about 1/2 mile from Aberfoyle on the Callander road (Duke's Pass)

Description:
This is a very relaxing short walk from the car park at the David Marshall Lodge on the Dukes pass above Aberfoyle about half a mile from the village. There is a selection of walks from the centre, but the one in the photos is the 'waterfalls trail' which is a very pleasant short walk of well under a mile but with great reward in the shape of the 'Little Fawn waterfall' which cascades spectacularly into a deep gorge where you can see the falls to the best advantage - obviously best after heavy rain but pleasant at any time.

The walk is well signed and easily followed. It may be extended on the many tracks through the woods.
